Does anyone know any details about the chamber that resides between the paws of the Sphinx? Edgar Cayce spoke about it decades ago...said the Hall of Records would be found....Egyptian Antiquities has forbidden any detailed seismic testing , but it was done in a crude way..very powerful strikes on the ground and the readings indicated a chamber below thw very area they were looking for...I for one wish they would let these structures be further explored with the results made public/./../.

Actually, they have done ground penetrating radar around the sphinx. They know there is a chamber of some size underneath, but in the little excavations that they have done, they find the water table is to high to safely excavate. They are concerned as much for the sphinx as they are for the safety of anyone trying to get into the space and because of the water, any thing like documents down there would have been destroyed. I know of a cave system in TN where they sent suba divers into a cave that hasn't had air in it since who knows how long and as soon as the air bubbles hit the roof, it started collapsing.
