Does anybody know, how to decide for TFT/ LCD TV

Hi, I am not an expert but I believe TFT is the screen material and LCD is the technology. So LCD works on TFT screens, if I am not mistaken. I believe laptops have a TFT screen with LCD technology to create the picture. Please research on the internet to make sure. Ash
