"After having decided to pursue my passion for music, DeeCee an employed technical personnel from the IT industry, met with his brother's band then carrying the name "Nonfat". An impromptu jamming in May 2004 where the then vocalist is not around, DeeCee was asked to sing for the band. Soon after, the feeling was mutual in reforming the band with a new name that will play not only cover but original compositions." The group met when my brother Jaime had his daughter baptized. The occasion gave the opportunity for the band to play and have someone to sing their pieces. I had the group listen to my demo cd, an acoustic version of "Long Days Cold Nights", "Ayos Lang Ba", and "A Reason To Smile". We jammed a bit with the first two songs mentioned in Ryan's house. P{ractices were allowed during daytime by his housemate, who is an older brother of his. It was almos night time so we have to move to our house in the parallel street to continue our practice session. We brought most of the gadgets and made an acoustic set in front of my siblings' house where I used to live. I taught them the chords for "Stereotypin'" in the dame session and so we concentrated on all three songs. My older brother whom I'm not having good ties with complained of the noises. So I planned of asking the barangay officials in the neigborhood to allow us to practice in a function room just accross our house. I went to ask permission to the barangay secretary and gave an advice to write a letter instead to formalize our request to use the gymnasium.
