Peanut butter recall, is this what is wrong with my child?

Oh man I am burnt up something big right now. Recall on Peanut butter is causing salmonella poisoning which goes away for most people, what happens when you eat it once a week over a period of time? I think the peanut butter has been making my child ill. Because she didn't have vomiting, they didn't catch it. People check your cabinets if you have Peter Pan peanut Butter or Great Value Peanut Butter ( they have the numbers 2111 in the start of the lot number) throw it out they say if you keep the lid and send it to the company they will refund your money. Not me, I am taking that huge jar I bought to a lab to have it tested, (its number is 2111) if this is what has been making my child this ill, I'm suing. I have thousands in medical bills coming in for her being in the hospital, then I'm going to ask her doctors why didn't they test her poop. Which seems to be a no brainer.

Most doctors will look at the symptoms and treat what they believe to be the illness. My little brother almost had an apendectomy for a completely different illness because he had extreme abdominal pain. What did they think she had before this came out? Also, good luck on your case. I know from personal experience how bad it is to have large hospital bills.

I wish you much luck with this, sorry your child is so ill. Best wishes for her speedy recovery and never having to go through something like this again. Good to know to send the lid to the company! Another friend of mine wants her money back for 3 jars. Thanks for this information.

We are getting her poop tested today. Both her doctor and the health department think it is from the peanut butter, we should know for sure with-in a couple of days if not sooner. I have contacted an attorney and it looks like we have a strong case if the test come back positive. Which is good for my family, because we don't have the money to pay the doctors off. It will take a years to pay them off. Hopefully now they pay for it.

Keep me posted on what you find out about this. I'm finding all of this food-poisoning here and food-poisoning there to be a little fishy. Makes me wonder who's been tampering with our food and why. I have my ideas. Will be writing about them before long...
