i'm the type who loves to read books especially historical novels. i'm currenly reading the count of monte cristo by alexander dumas. i'm not yet done though, but i love the story. it's about a man who was sent to prison for a crime he didn't commit. and 14 yrs later, he was able to escape and sworn revenge to those who betrayed him. the amazing part is how he carefully planned and execute each vengeance. it took him around 15 yrs to finish. whew! talk about patience!!!

Hi ghurl, I have not read the book as I am already so lazy! But I loved the movie very much. I was very impressed at his patience and perseverance, and well, his luck of course. He used to be a very ignorant man but when he got out of prison he was 360 degrees changed. I think one lesson I learned from the movie is that when you are educated and learned, people cannot easily abuse, and exploit you. That is the value of education.
