Newly plastered ceiling... so when painting do I?

Paint straight onto it or do I seal the ceiling first. Any help appreciated. thanks

wait 24 hours after plaster. paint it with primer and wait another 12 hours. then paint with your desired color. wait 24 hours and paint it again.
