This is a question I'm stuck at - it's a simultaneous equation. A district council decides to plant maple and rowan trees. They plant 180 trees. It comes to a total of £1500. Maple = £9, Rowan = £7.50.Maple=m rowan=r. From the above information write TWO equations that connect m and r and hence find the number of each type of tree the council planted. Show all working.
