Teeth whitening with Baking soda and peroxide.. have you done this???

I have used both but never together. I wet my toothbrush then sprinkle with soda and brush. I rinse with peroxide, not brush. But let me warn you DO NOT SWALLOW IT!! I did on accident and it bubbled and fizzed in my belly until I thought I would die. I even called poison control!ROFL

I used to do that years ago. I used to dip the brush in a little peroxide and then press the brush onto a little baking soda and it never hurt. It may have been the peroxide that burned because diluted peroxide is recommended to heal gum diseases. You may have had a little scratch on your gums.

I have done this many many times and it is good to make a paste with the baking soda and peroxide even adding a little bit to your tooth paste. You can leave out the peroxide if you want and if it is too irritating. Because baking soda works well alone too. you might want to delute the peroxide and just use it as a mouth swish before brushing leave in mouth for a minute. I hope deluting the peroxide helps. I would use one part peroxide with one part water.

I think you should use the regular toothpaste with those ingredients. It would be tempered for your mouth.

yea it was so disgusting, it stunk. it didnt really burn for me, but i remember swallowing some of the peroxide, and then i felt sick for the rest of the day.
