This is a difficult subject in the English World as I don't believe that Nostradamus has been traducted in English.
And for good reasons... only a French man could try to interpret "The Centuries"... and not any French man either... but one with a good knowledge of ancient French.
But I bought this interesting French book in 2002 by Marc Luni which claim to have cracked the code of "The Centuries".
It does provide some interesting reading.
So... do you believe in the prophecies of Nostradamus?

By and large, the prophecies of Nostradamus, like much of the Bible and even the Quran, are subject to interpretation and analysis. I find it difficult to believe that the quatrains were specific enough to forecast such things as Hitler's rise, the San Francisco Great Erthquake of 1906 and other fanciful interpretations. Analysts can certainly read "between the lines" and tweak the raw writings into whatever future they please, but it remains vague because Nostradamus gave himself tremendous wiggle room in his cryptic writings. Of more impetus, perhaps, is the well-researched Mayan calendar and the year 2012, which I believe will be a massive turning point in which the amped-up technological empire we now enjoy will implode and trigger another tumultuous era of human existence. That's probably why I thought "Apocalyto" was such a profound film. In trying to piece together the ancient Mayan civilization, Gibson set the stage to prepare for 2012.

I don't think Nostradamus predicted anything about San-Francisco... because America was only being discovered during his lifetime.
All his predictions are about Europe and the Middle East. Which is all he knew about.

I have read the quatrains of Nostradamus (however, i feel most of his quatrains have been abused by various authors who have translated his works according to their whims and fancies. After, every major war, epidemic etc. people come up with suggestions that they have proof that Nostradamus has predicted it in his quatrain. It's a lot like Da Vinci Code syndrome, where a lot of new authors sprung up with proof's, new theories, new interpretations on the works of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code. Only Dan Brown knows the truth nobody else at the end of the day can ever pass any critical comments. Similarly, only Nostradamus knew the truth about what he was trying to mean by his cryptic quatrains, probably he did not mean anything and was just a pure charlatan, but he is longer alive, nor are his cryptic theories worth anyones time.

Some people are given a sixth sense by God and I believe this. Although I haven't read his book regarding prophecies, many people have said much about his accuracy. But of course, I believe that it may not be 100% accurate.

Nostradamus - the man who saw tomorrow. We can only say he is accurate because what he wrote occurred. The future is full of uncertainty. Major events can possibly come true. St. John is also presented with a vision of Christ Second Coming. If you read the bible there is a parallelism in Ezekiel and Daniel. We do not know if St. John copied the old testament text or He himself was raised and saw the vision.
