Whens the ideal time to start planting bulbs and when is the best to remove them from the ground in the Fall? How do you store them over the winter?

It is easy. If you like the Spring bulbs - plant them in Autumn. I would also recommend the Autumn bulbs. My favourite is Sternbergia lutea. It has fantastic yellow flowers and you do not need to move them or divide. Plant time: late summer.

It depends on the type of bulbs. But spring blooming buds should be planted in fall mostly during october last to december last in zone 5, USA. And always take care that soil should not be completely dry. why don't you visit www.burpee.com
