Okay, I know she is probably not, but honestly, who else thought that at the end of last night's CSI when they were showing the home movies of Earl's foster kids and there was a little dark haired girl on it, whose face they didn't show? They've been dropping hints about the killer... foster child, works in law enforcement, detail oriented and full of supressed rage... they totally want us to think it is her! We'll just forget that she grew up in California, not Las Vegas (just like we "forgot" about her brother she mentioned the first season, but has never mentioned ever again...what do you suppose happened to him? Hmmm?). ;-) I'm being totally silly, but who else thinks they are steering the storyline that way on purpose?

I didn't think about it last night while watching it but now that you point it out it does make sense. She'd also know how long Grissom was to be on vaction so knew when he'd return and when he'd open the box. It is possible. I don't know if they will go there or not but yeah I could see it or I should say it wouldn't surprise me at all. I don't remember her saying she grew up in California but I do remember her talking the once about a very traumatic childhood. I don't remember all the details of it but it was one that stuck with her. One has to wonder what they will hint at next.

Well, in the first season, she moved from San Franciso to take the CSI job, and last season when they started feeding us details of her past, it showed her looking up State of Calf. vs Sidle. Apparently, her dad was abusive to her mom (and maybe her) and then her mom snapped one day and killed him. Sara was put in foster care and her mom in an institution for awhile, but it was apparently ruled self-defense and she got Sara back. I think all that happened when she was around 10 years old, but I'm not sure.

Ok thanks. It must have been an episode I missed. I missed a few last season :( I remember the one after she had gotten drunk where she talked with Grissom in her apartment about her father but that was about it.

No, that woman in the miniture was a psychologist that had worked with addicts at a half-way house, of which Earl's son had possibly beena patient. The son became the main suspect because the CSI's thought maybe Earl was tring to protect him. But the son (can't remember his name) said that Earl had liked the foster kids more than him and was probably protecting one of them. CBS does a summary of each episode on the website, which will give more details on the story.

Oops, the supposed-killer/ miniture maker who offed himself was named Ernie Dell, not Earl as I was saying. My bad.

I must have been half asleep last night, because I didn't pick up on any of the inuendos. I am glad you pointed them out to me. You have a very interesting concept. I like the theory. Thinking back, she has been acting really strange since the miniature killings started. She does appear to be troubled. Maybe Earl's son is her missing brother? Just food for thought. I am glad you posted this, I will be watching more carefully in the future.

I honestly don't even know if those "hints" are on purpose, but if Jorja Fox was planning on leaving the show, what an awsome way to be written out!

I really hadn't thought of it. But it is an interesting idea. Grissom could be provoking that supressed rage without realizing it because of the way he puts his work before her. Like not telling her about leaving for those four weeks until it was time for him to go. Now I can't wait for tomorrow night's show!

They were actually focusing on the little boy that looked directly at the camera right before it cut to the credits. So there is one of the Dell foster kids out there as the killer. I wonder if they are going to try and persue the case further, or if it will be one of those "we never know" type deals.

I'm sure they are going to pick this up again later in the season. They've made too big a deal out of it to just drop it.

I think the age of the kid is wrong for it to be Sara, from what I gather ... but I think they are definitely trying to make people pay attention to inside the crime lab - various potential 'suspects' there maybe? Hopefully it's all just red herrings, as I wuold hate to see any of our beloved csis turn out to be a murderer!

Well, the tape was dated 1987, so, yeah, the ten-ish girl in the video would be a bit young to be Sara, but they also said that the Dell's had taken in dozens of foster kids over the years. I wouldn't wnat her to actually be the killer, but it is fun to entertain the idea...

probably just playing with our minds. Letting us believe it was her and maybe throw a little more evidence linking to her but in the end she'll come out clean.

Interesting theory. I really enjoy this show but looks like I must have missed an episode. I look forward to seeing if you're close....
