Diet Tips for Today!!

Hi Friends and Members I thought that maybe some members would like some more tips on dieting for today:- START THE DAY THE RIGHT WAY! 1) Some of my snacking is done with popcorn sprinkled with garlic powder or chilli powder, basically any spice you like as it adds no calories. I also find when i get the munchies alot of times if i drink a big glass of ICE water and wait a few moments and poof! the desire to snack vanishes. 2) Be sure to eat breakfast, your body will start into calorie burn mode. Top a whole grain bagel with 2 Tablespoons of reduced fat ricotta cheese instead of cream cheese. You'll get half the calories, one third the fat and 5 TIMES the calcium, a mineral that aids in weight loss

Hi No your body will take time to get started as you will not have started your metabolism working if you do not have your breakfast. I never used to eat breakfast either just a cup of coffee and so if you are trying to lose weight then you must start your day off correctly by having breakfast it is just that you are not used to it.

This is a great idea, like a weight loss club, I will be watching for your hint of the day and maybe we can all do it together, lets face it there is a lot of people who are trying to lose a little bit of weight.

Good advice, Kathy...breakfast is so important...and popcorn is such a healthy snack when air popped and not drenched in butter!!! One of my favorite pre-popped brands is Erins low salt low fat...I love it because I can take it with me for snacking on trips or in the car...Apples are another good diet tip..full of fiber and vitamins...and pectin...which is touted to help lose weight and calm cravings!!!
