Exactly what is Hooters?

A friend called me today and was really upset. Her bf came home and told her that he will be going away next week, to The states. He goes about once a year to do some buisness with cars and he stays there for a few weeks.
last time he was there he visited soemthing called hooters - and that is what my friend was so upset about?
She has heard that there are alot of naked girls running around and serve burgers and beer?
Is that what it really is?
I am sure that she thinks that it is more, and thats why she is so upset - a few naked girls wouldn´t bother her that much (or maybe it would)!

Hooters is a restaurant. They specialize in Chicken Wings. The girls that work there do where tight clothes. Short orange shorts and tight fitting t-shirts or tank tops. None of them are naked.

Although whe I went on vacation with my family a long time back in Florida they had a hooters on the boardwalk and a girl didnt have a very large chest so I was wondering why she was working there if they only like big hooters.But I guess they figure hooters are hooters.But they sell chicken wings. i guess thats there specialty.But someone told me along time back it was a family restaurant and I said I am not taking my kids ther.LOL

They are not naked, but wear skimpy outfits. However most of these girls are young and using that job to help pay their way through college. I as a straight female, have eaten there many times, with or without my husband. The girls aren't trying to pick the guys up and are really sweet if you talk to them. It's nothing for her to worry about, in my opinion.
BTW Their food isn't bad at all. :o)

Its the best restaurant in the world because not only I can feed my stomach, I can also feed my eyes. Hey I do look but I dont touch. Watching them waitresses is enough to keep me happy.
