OMG! What is up with people? If a groomer accidentally cut my dogs ear off, I would rather them tell me than super glue it back on! How traumatized would you be if you were giving your pet a bath and its ear fell off? http://www.ohionewsnow.com/?sec=home&story=sites/10tv/content/pool/200702/1330884069.html

This is deplorable. The groomer should be stripped of their license. At the first sign of injury this groomer should have taken the dog and the ear straight to the neartest veternarians office for reattachment. The worst part is the unethical behavior of trying to disquise the injury and not being forthright in telling the owner. The pain that the animal suffered had to be immense and again was uncalled for had the groomer gone to a vet where the dog could have been medicated. This just makes my blood boil. I hope the groomer attempts to trim just one more dog before going to court and trips on the cord of the clippers and cuts him/her self !!

She wasn't licensed from what the article stated. Some con artist probably who didn't care about who she hurt.

I wouldn't really be that sad that my dog had been hurt, but more angry at the fact that the dog groomer didn't tell me as soon as it happened. Did he really think that glue would keep a cut off ear on for long? Seriously, I wonder what was going through his head...

Some people barely pay attention to their own family members, so this person probably actually felt they could get away with this.

sheesh how careless can a groomer get. I would be horrified if that happened. I would blame my self first and hten look to see what the actual problem was. The groomer definetely needs to inform the owners if anything happens to the animals when under thier care. I would not mind too much as accidents to happen... but i wonder how a ear can get cut off accidently though

Wouldn't that be grounds to sue the groomer? I mean, cutting off a dog's ear and not telling me! I would probably try to use the groomer. The groomer could've at least had the decency to tell the owner! I can't believe people these days!

Unfortunately, by the time the dogs ear had fallen off the company had closed down and the owner cannot even sue them.

Oh I'd be more then ticked. I would have been livid. I would have gotten the dog to the vet but while the dog was being treated I'd have the cops there and the owner of that grooming shop arrested. I thought it interesting that groomer wasn't even licenses which means she probably had no training what so ever. The Groomer probably goes from town to town scamming people out of money and then bolts as soon as their is problems. If I was the owner of the dog hurt by her she'd better hope I never found her. I'd see how she liked to be treated the same way. People like that just make me see red. It's bad enough they will try to scam us but to hurt an animal is beyond low.

Can you imagine the pain that poor dog was in. That groomer should never be allowed around pets again. I would be mad to say the least. I cant believe that someone would acturally do this. They have no integrity at all.Poor dog
