is it possible for a flash drive to be use as start up disk? how? thanks....

i think taht is just like use floppy disk as bootable disk, maybe

Flash drives can be used as start up disk. It can be done using an utility. which generally comes with the flash driver CD. However old systems does not support this. Flash drives can also be used to boot systems, i.e., you can use to boot your systems. OS like Damn small linux be boot as system. However your bois should support.
