What Animal...would you be?

This is the question that they asked us, when we were younger in school, and they asked us to explain why we would want to be the animal that we picked...I guess it was for some project, that I cannot even remember now. I believe that I had picked a horse, because it was graceful, fast, and serene, etc...but now, I am not so sure if that is all that I would want to be. Now, I would like to update myself to a Unicorn, because it can soar above the skies, and it looks so majestic. Because it is also luminescent (if that makes any sense). And, last, because it is magical. So, what animal would you be? And why?

Well, I would be a lion. Queen of the jungle. Lions know how to survive, and I'm a survivor. Plus, they're so graceful. And they're extremely alert. I also like lions because all the animals are afraid of them. They protect their own and fight off everyone else. And they look good too. I mean they're golden animals.

Yeah, that is the way my hubby feels, lol, he loves to think of himself as a lion, and as I mentioned earlier, he is a leo.

Lol, Don't we all? I know a lot of people myself, who have that issue, and I can say myself included. I guess we all need a little bit of stubborness, to get us through, or everyone would just walk all over us. But, yes, I did like your cat avatar, when I first saw it, and was wondering if it was a cat of your or something...

I would definitely be a dolphin, swimming all day in the warm seas, eating and procreating with other dolphins. Dolphins are very intelligent and beautiful creatures, able to communicate and have little or no predators, I would love the freedom, I am wild myself, so I wouldn't be anyone's so called 'pet' independent and having fun! Life as a dolphin would suit me for sure.

Lol, yes you are right...I think that I would love to be a dolphin too, (after a unicorn), because they are one of the few animals that really know how to play (and it has been studied and documented that they do). My hubby and I had been talking about it a few days ago, and was asking me if they played with other fish, I told him that other fish probably didn't know how to play, so they played with other dolphins and humans...bonus for you, you could keep all your human friends and family, even if you weren't a pet.

Let me see an elephant, nope, poachers.
How about a lion, nope, too much competition, might end up in a zoo and vilagers would not be please to see me.
How about a dog..well then I would be servant to man and might be mistreated or stolen for lab testing.
Maybe a cat... that might be good, I could pick when and where I would stay, the people could easily be manipulated into opening those darn metal cans and feeding me when I meowed for it. I could leave anytime and would have a fine furry coat. Then I would pick a cat.

That is very sound reasoning, I think that you have made a wise decision, and so far, many would agree with you. It will be interesting to see, what the majority is.

That's a very difficult question. I don't think I would like to be an animal but if I had to choose, I probably would like to be a large African elephant. That way I might be able to protect myself from all the other wildlife.

Yes, that is a very good animal to choose. In fact, elephants are smart and beautiful. There are many that have learned to do talented things, that I have seen as a child and on TV. Like, being in a circus, and painting (I saw on TV, they paint with their trunks). So, you would be a celebrity, really, and that is good. As long as no one goes after your beautiful ivory tusks :(

Your discussion reminded me of what my Mother often said when I was young.She felt that if there was such a thing as reincarnation, she wanted to come back as a cat. A cat in a well loved home.
On giving this some thought, I feel much the same. A cat is what I want to be, but only a cat in a loving home.

Yes, that is true. A lot of the cats out there, in the world, are unfortunately, living their live is poverty, on the streets, or on someone's dinner plate (sorry for the gruesome picture). I don't know how it is in Australia, but here, in the U.S., they are treated like royalty, best food clothing, etc. So, if it doesn't seem like a good place in Austrilia, you know where to go :)

I would like to be human. The next choice would be anything right on top of the predatory ladder, or an animal that generally can't be bropught down easily - that couls be an elephant, or maybe a virus that would be next to impossible to eliminate.

I would have to be a horse. Just roaming free in the west somewhere. They are beautiful animals. After watching so many western movies, I have seen many marvelous animals. Horses do come in lots of varieties and colors. It would be dificult to be specific.

I remember I was asked the same thing in elementary school. I don't remember what I chose before, but I would like to be a baby bear just like winnie the pooh. During the time the real winnie the pooh (winnepeg) was alive. Maybe I would be included in the current winnie the pooh family. :) Bears also know how to survive,sawsen, and they are so cute when young. And I'd be the same color winnie the pooh is, which is a unique color for a bear so I would stand out among all the bears.

Jaguar, because large cats growl but not the jaguar. It looks elegant, flexible, adorable, powerful and dangerous

I did not know that, actually, I thought that they all do. My hubby would be a lion, probably, lol, because he is a leo...me too, but I have always had a fascination with horses. He likes horses too, a lot, but I guess his personality takes precedence.

i think i would want to be cat.i would love to just lay arround all day sleeping .not having a care in this world.but i also have this weird fascination with penguins .so it would be cool to be penguins as well

yep. cats are so carefree. they just play around, eat and sleep. they don't care about what's going on around them. they enjoy the simple things in life.

if ever i had not been human, i'd rather be a dog and be with a very loving person to take care of me.
or, i wanna be an eagle. i can be brave and i can soar high above the sky. it would be wonderful to look at the world below. feel the breeze of the air on my feathers and fly freely on air.
i do also want to be a swim and just go with the waves. not caring where i might end up or go. just swimming freely on water.
and oh, just like you, i like horses. and unicorns are cute, too.

I would be a lioness. They say a lion is the king of the jungle, but the lioness does all the hunting, leads the pack and takes care of the young. I think that I would be a lioness since they are the real leaders of the jungle.I also feel that I am a leader

I'd be a monkey cause I LOVE them! It would be fun to swing through trees, eat bananas, and relax all day long. Wouldnt it? Not a gorilla and I'd defently need a tail! But still yeah MONKEY!
My second up is a dolphine. I love those too. I'd be graceful swimming through the ocean. heehee tons of fun! :))

LOL If I had to come back as an animal I think maybe a dolphin as I just love to be by the sea. They are very intelligent sociable creatures
