California Crazy Law

I've seen people posting weird laws from other states, so I decided to look up California. Here are just a few:
*Sunshine is guaranteed to the masses.
*Animals are banned from mating publicly within 1,500 feet of a tavern, school, or place of worship. (Imagine explaining THAT one to animal control!! LOL)
*Many animals are illegal to own as pets, including snails, sloths, and elephants.
*Bathhouses are against the law.
*In an animal shelter, lizards and snakes are treated under the same guidelines as cats and dogs.
*No vehicle without a driver may exceed 60 miles per hour.
*Women may not drive in a house coat.
*It is a misdemeanor to shoot at any kind of game from a moving vehicle, unless the target is a whale.

So say a vehicle without a driver does go over 60 miles, who are they going to fine or arrest? the car or the person who owns the car, or maybe the person closest to the car when it is caught. I mean really, that is so funny.
I think many of the laws are from years and years ago and just haven't been taken off the books. I think when a law becomes obsolete they just seem to forget about it.

There are some strange laws, some of which are still actaully enforced but most are simply ignored. I bet most law enforcement officials don't even know most of the laws because there are so many in the books and so many that are no longer enforced.

Yea, I can't even imagine a point where that donkey law would actaully be needed. I just don't get the point. I love the one about having to wash yourself until the soap is all used up if you were caught stealing it. What does that really prove. I mean, come on, too funny.

I can't even figure out why some of those laws would have been made, they are incredible, goes to show you the mentality of som law makers...
