why?????

I think it is because when most people first get here they really have no idea what it's all about. I don't thin that the majority even read the guidelines before starting. I think that they go to new iser discussions see what is being posted and then copy and repeat. :) I try to go to those also to try and help out new users but most of it for me i to much deciphering what they want to know so I just go back to the friends and the interests, that seems to work the best for me. I don't answer anything that is one word. In fact I made my first post tonight that ended up only being 2 lines, oops. :) As always this is just me 2 cents worth.

intially i used to do the same i didnt knew whats was it all about but slowy i was habbituated here and i thought i should only post those things which carries some weight and should be meaningful so that it will be more intresting in mylotting

For some I think they don't realize the rules although the guidelines are there for anyone to read. For others it's about trying to make some quick money. They figure simple questions are easy to post and they can post many of them for people to answer. They earn that way and those who answer think they are earning by answering. Problem is sooner or later mylot does delete them and then they lose what they earned.

No the rules haven't changed at all. It is very frustrating to not be able to answer anything though because people are asking about ice cream flavours and your favourite number.

Maybe just for fun or maybe they like to know what's other mylotter's opinions. Why bother to answer them in the first place. I wouldn't like to think that I'm also posting dicussions with weird questions. Just look for discussions of your preferences. Happy posting...

You asked - Has someone changed the way it works and forgot to tell me? No LOL! There's my one word answer. Sorry I couldn't resist. Seriously, no, mylot has guidelines. People still post how and what they want. If they break the guidelines, I believe mylot will eventually pull the post. There are people who fly into this site and think they can hurry and post anything for more money. The rest of us know that isn't quite the way it works. We may not know exactly how the pay works. But, most of us know that quality and sensibility is where the earnings happen. If it's to far off the wall, just ignore the post and move on. There are others that will be worth your time.
