This is mostly for people who live in Europe. I live in Romania, and, from 1 jan 2007, we're part of eu. "yupee!" I don't like this. I think that the eu is just a way for bigger countries to control and even enslave smaller countries. All politicians said that joining the eu would be a good thing, but...who believes a politician? I mean, one really gotta be a retard to believe that a politician would REALLY want what's best for the population. Now, we're in eu, and i can see more and more small shops closing, hypermarkets opening. hm... that's stupid. First of all, those hypermakets have pretty high prices, so i don't understand why everyone goes to them. Well, if a romanian doesn't like the living in his/her country, he could now go and work in another country. WRONG! it's not that simple. I mean, you can not just leave your country and just go look for a job abroad. First of all, you need to stay somewhere. Then, you can't blend in with other people just like that. So, it ain't that simple to go abroad. So, i am totally against the eu. What do u think? it's fair for bigger countries to control smaller countries? Or it's better that every country to control itself?

I live in Belgium (I'm 19 years old and study economics :) ) I'm pro EU, it gives us the power to fight bach to the 'big' america :) and china etc. I know that smaller shops suffer from it, surely in the beginning, bigger shops uses the 'freedom' of europe I think and when a new coutry joins the EU they will be there in no time ... From what i've studied, EU is only 'good' it supports economy boosts up traffic between countries etc etc ... But I know and I rally believe you that it also has it's disadvantages.
