These days we will never be able to guess as to what the kids will be adamant about. My daughter refuses to pass her stools regularly and this has caused skin rashes in her. I have tried telling her so much but in vain. I am really confused as to how to make her realise that I am telling it for her benefit.

How old is your daughter? Do you feel that she is not having bowel movements because she doesn't want to, or because she is constipated. My daughter has had a food allergy that we just recently found. It has caused a problem with constipation for a long time. When she was really young, 2 or 3 yrs old, she would hold back and not want to pass stools because she knew it would hurt her. I don't think telling your daughter is going to convince her. I think you have discover the real reason she doesn't have regular movements, whether voluntary or not.
