Qn. A man has a wolf, a goat, and a cabbage. He must cross a river with the two animals and the cabbage. There is a small rowing-boat, in which he can take only one thing with him at a time. If, however, the wolf and the goat are left alone, the wolf will eat the goat. If the goat and the Cabbage, the goat will eat the cabbage. How can the man get across the river with the two animals and the cabbage? (Source : UNKNOWN)

He can take the goat across first then come back and take the cabbage across and bring the goat back with him. Get the wolf and take the wolf across. Then come back and get the goat. Now he has them all across the river.

take goat first.come back and take the wolf. while returning take the goat back and keep it on the other side then ferry the cabbage come back and take the goat again.

in real life, you can take a wolf and a cabbage on a boat. So that's what he's going to do, then come back for the goat.
