Is it okay to answer discussions when a "best answer" has been chosen?

I look at discussions and answer what interest me, but sometimes i notice that the one who posted it already has chosen the "Best answer", i still go ahead and answer anyway. But what should i do, go and look at other discussions that the "best answer" has not yet been chosen or is it olay to still make a comment on the discussion? Am not really vying for the best answer title, though i always try to give one to my posts.

I always answer discussions that interest me whether best response has already been chosen or not. I think if mylot didn't want us to continue to carry on these discussions then they would delete them once the owner chose the best response.

I think is OK to answer them aven after a best answer has been chosen. Especially of you have something extra/different/unique to say. Also even if you are saying something similar it drives the point home harder when more people agree on the same thing.

Even if I see that the best response award has already been taken that never dissuades me from responding, especially if the discussion is interesting and I want to get my point across to! So yes it's completely fine to respond to any discussion regardless of whether best response has already been given out. Good luck!

It's alright to reply to a discussion even when a post was already chosen as the best response. As long as people have something to contribute to the discussion then that's fine. Anyway, the person who made the discussion won't mind heh.

Oh that's good. Then i shall continue answering posts that i find interesting even if the best answer has been choses, anyway it is not a competition on who gave the best answer but what you can contribute to the discussion. Many thanks!

Yes. I still reply to topics that interest me even if a "best answer" has already been chosen. I am happy when my post gets chosen as best answer, but ultimately the best answer is a subjective decision by the thread starter. I'm here to enjoy myself, get a feel of what others are saying about different topics, and hopefully earn a little along the way :)

Well that clears everything. I thought it was useless for responding to a post when the best answer has been chosen, but nonetheless i still post..hahaha!! Thanks friend.

I usually do not check if a discussion has selected a best response. I just answer topics that interests me. Besides, only very few selects the best response. Wow, your points has suddenly increased! good girl!
