If you could invite 10 people to dinner they could be from the past present imaginary or real who would you invite and why? My list is: Jesus Christ because regardless of whether you believe or not he has changed the world Abraham Lincoln because he had such a drastic effect on the United States John F. Kennedy because I was just a kid when he was in office and I would really like to know more about how he really felt about being president. Mohammed because I don't know enough about him and his religion Ramses the Great because I am really curious about his life Adolf Hitler because I would really like to watch him choke on a chicken bone after he has had to face The other guests. Ghandi Because he was such a peaceful man and yet committed to what he believed. Rosa Parks because she was strong enough to stand up or sit down as the case may be for what she believed in. Jackie Kennedy Onasis Because she was such an icon of the time George Carlin Just because I have always liked him.

I'd invite: 1. Nikola Tesla, he was crazy, and to get him talking, I'd also invite: 2. Peter Usimov, I'm sure his imagination would get Tesla's mouth blabbing, 3. I'd get also Edgar Allan Poe, but I fear he'd get drunk too fast 4. Vincent Price so that Poe and him scare us off our pants 5. Oscar Wilde because he was a funny guy 6. Pyotr Illych Tchaikovski, for some treason I believe him and Wild would love each other 7. Franz Liszt, and I'd make sure to have a piano 8. Fryderyk Chopin and I'd make sure to have 9. George Sand, to make it spicy 10. Ach... there's so much more interesting people!... 10th, if I had to restrict it (say, I only had 10 chairs haha), it would be Plato. I bet that pack would have a lot of things to talk about. But ach, I fear I invited too many guys and only one girl. So well, if I could get more chairs, specially for ladies, I'd invite Ada Lovelace, and of course Charles Babbage would come with her. I'd also invite Petronel Malan becauase a close friend of mine said she's a hoot. And well, I have Liszt there, she'd go crazy. Sappho seems like someone good to have over too, although I'm afraid she'd start hitting on George Sand. Hehe, I guess... at the end. Everyone who has something to say is invited, even if at first they don't want to say it

Let's throw the doors open and not limit ourselves. There are so many wonderful people out there who would either have something electric to say or who could make us laugh or cry. Your list is so cool, please add me to the list. Thank you

The 10 persons that i would invite to dinner are the one's that i can be comfortable to talk with, like my friends and family but then i can always invite them so i would invite the persons who are impossible to invite like: Britney Spears: So that i would have peace of mind on what's going on with her mind Beggar: So that i can give them a taste of real home dinner President Bush: So that i can tell him to stop the war in iraq. Oprah: So that i can ask for some freebees Benny Hinn: So that i can ask for healing prayer Angolina Jolie: I want to know the real personality of Angolina Philippine President: I want to ask her what makes her to be a good president despite her alleged fraud in the presidential election. Micheal Jackson: I want to know the good traits of Micheal. Osama Bin Laden: After we have dinner i will bring him to authorities. Mr. Bean: To have someone funny over dinner Jesus: To have someone most authorative

If I was going to invite anyone I would invite the homeless. Those others don't need my food. Plus you would most likely end up with one big arguement and no one would get to taste your great food.

Of course, I would like very much - no, LOVE - to sit in a dinner with my father (if it is at all possible), my mother, my two sisters, and my daughter. That would be my first five. I have always enjoyed discussions over meals with my family, although at times we could raise tensions so much, it had all been for fun. My daughter is only three, but she was not around when the whole family was still together. Now wouldn't it be grand if I can have my whole family back together again, with my daughter now? A sixt would be the sister I lost long ago ... she was only 9 months, and my daughter's namesake. She would be the first in the next five. The rest? Well, maybe Frodo Baggins, Gandalf the Great, Legolas, and of course, Aragorn! We - my sisters and my father - spend a whole summer reading JRR Tolkien's trilogy around the late 90s. No, I wouldn't have Tolkien himself; he'll spoil the magic.

Oh I agree with you, my family always had some wonderful conversations around the dinner table. I am also a big fan of the trilogy and I even had a bird I named Gandalf because he was all grey and looked like he had a hood on. Wonderful list thank you so much.
