Lately I have been contemplating the idea that when things seem to be bad they just seem to get worse. It jsut doesn't seem like the y get any better. What can you do to change this?

Don't know who said it but someone said "it is always darkest before the dawn". I have definetly had those times in my life and the best thing I can say is just know that it will pass. The times I thought were the darkest turned out to have very bright spots in them. I have learned that a sense of humor even about the bad things can help get you through the bad times. Having someone to talk to helps too. But the main thing is not to wallow in pity, that does nothing to help the situation it makes it worse. Take 2 steps back and look at the situation and ask yourself how can I make this better. Help is a four letter word that so many people won't say but you will find that you will have more than you ever expected if you just say it.
