NEVER NEVER never wax your bikini line by yourself at home. I put the wax on both sides at once. After letting out a bloodcurling scream from pulling off the first one, I couldn't bring myself to rip the second one off. No way!! I walked around for a week waiting for the hair to grow enough that I could slip a pair of scissors under the cloth strip. Not nice, since any exposed wax sticks to anything. Middle of the night code, had to pee reallyyy bad, ran to the bathroom, practically tore my scrubs off and in the process I got the wax stuck to my underwear so when I tugged them down, Oh man. I hope you will never have any idea how badly that hurts. Now, I have learned that any oil-based substance will dissolve the wax. Ahhh, memories.
