triming nails?

how often do you trim your nails?
do you like your nails short or longand why?
i trim my nails once every two weeks coz i like them short

i trim them whenever they start to grow past the end of my fingers/thumbs.
i prefer to keep them short and sometimes if there abit long i catch myself during the night which isn't plesent. so i cut them to keep 'em nice and tidy.

I do not have a need to trim my nails. I have the very bad habit of biting my nails. It doesn't bother me, but many people have tried to get me to stop biting my nails. I have also been told that it isn't good to bite them.
So I guess I prefer them short over long. :-)
