Movies Castaway

Yes great movie. Who would think a person could actually make you cry over losing a volley ball. This was one of the best movies I have ever seen considering Tom Hanks had to almost pull it off all by himself. WHAT AN ACTOR!!!!

I saw this movie a couple of years ago and found it to be quite drawn out. I think of Tom Hanks as a comedian, so felt that it was the wrong actor for this particular movie. I don't know if I would have enjoyed it more if it would have had a different actor in it or not. I did think that it was quite sad when he lost Wilson and it actually made me cry. :( It was quite depressing to me and it wouldn't be a movie that I would recommend watching. Just my 2cents. :)

yeah he did get really upset when he lost Wilson in the water. I am watching it right now it is on tv. Castaway is one of Tom Hanks good movies.

I also liked this movie and I really like Tom Hanks as an actor. But I agree - it was long and in need of an editor's touch. It is good - but it isn't one of those - "I need to watch it again" movies.

I have watched it a very long time ago. Don't remember much but I loved it, especially the ball he keeps with himself with a face drawn on it. Amazing movie actually.

I saw it, but didn't care for it. It was depressing, and I didn't think that Tom Hanks should have has that part, as he is more a comedian.

I would have hate to have been him and have to knock out my own tooth! I don't know if I would have been able to do that! And then to get back to learn that the one I loved moved on to another? Wow! I would be left wondering what was left for me.

It was a great movie, I watched it a few weeks ago, I thought the sadest part was when he saw his girlfriend for the first time and she was married to someone else, I cried

The first time I saw this movie, I actually teared up when Wilson floated away! I think it shows good story-telling when you develop feelings for an inanimate object.

Its a very good movie... a movie not to forget...
