Dell Inspiron E1505 - anyone else getting shocked from this laptop?

This is my third laptop and I get shocked many times a day. I never had this issue before and I work in IT. Has anyone else had this problem? Sometimes I get a shock from touching it and sometimes I shock my cat while my laptop is on my lap and I go to pet her. Thanks.

hi as you said that you are getting shoucks from ur laptop than you should contact the customer care or the tech support of dell and they will replace your laptop ....

I did just that and they are sending my replacement out. When I told them it was shocking me they said they get this complaint sometimes and it's better to be safe than sorry. I hope this one is fine. Thanks.

I don't have the notebook, but I think it's a defect, you should return it immediately and ask for a new one.
