Monster in law

This movie came to mind after my recent visit with my mother in law. It has been six long years with her and she still drives me crazy. She always make comments. It's like she is starved for attention. It was my father in laws birthday so we took him a gift and although my father in law loved it she was telling him he couldn't use it. I just bit my lip from saying anything. I give him credit for putting up with what he does all the time. Anybody else ever go through this.

Don't feel so bad about your mother-in-law. She's a good woman really, that is, if you have a good husband/wife. It is just a matter of you understanding her in depth. Remember that she was responsible for bringing up your partner in life. If you find your partner to be a good and reliable person, then so is your mother-in-law for she could not give to your partner what she doesn't have. Next time she complains, hear her out. She may be able to give you useful insights in life.

My husband is great. Nothing like any of his family. I think he gets it from his father. and step father. His brother although I love him dearly is a very mean man to alot of people. I have a hard time that she doesn't like me for I never gave her a reason not to. I am always by her side when she is sick and try and take care of her when nobody else is around. My father in law always tells me not to worry that she only hurts the people she loves. He is a dear sweet man.
