Last night we were at the store and they were already putting up the Easter items. Seems way to early for that! How do you feel about the stores seeminly rushing from one holiday to another to win your hard earned money? Do you think they move to quickly from one holiday to the next?

I do not have a problem with this since there are many people who like to get their holiday shopping done earlier than waiting til later when the stores get mobbed with people and some of the items may be more difficult to get later on. I like getting my holiday shopping done early for those same reasons so I think it is great. Easter will be here before you know it as time just seems to fly by.

I do like most stuff being easily accessable, but don't your think that they could wait maybe a week after say Valentines Day to put out Easter merchandise. Halloween to Christmas bothers me. Yes, there isn't much hoopla over Thanksgiving on the retail end, but do we have to have Santa staring at us on November 1? In alot of stores you have witches & ghosts side by side on the same shelves with Good Old St Nick and his Elves. i jsut think there should be a small amount of time in between or put the difference season in different aisles in the stores. Something so all the holidays are not being blended together.

Ugh, it looks like they forgot about St. Patrick's Day. While I have not noticed anything Easter in my areaone store that I went past had their windows plastered with pictures of George Washington & Abraham Lincoln. Overall, I think it is too early to start with the Easter decorations.

Oh my gosh, you're kidding?!!? Easter??? That is just to much. Still have T-day, Christmas, New Years and Valentines day to get through. Any edibles would be stale by then! I thought they had Halloween stuff out early but then figured, that is not a "main" holiday, oh well. But then the week before Halloween, here comes the T-day stuff - and this is at the Dollar Store!!! And 2 weeks ago I see the christmas stuff. I am all for spreading out a holiday to get the most out of your money and enjoyment, but 4 months early - that is just over-kill. Plus, who is thinking of spending money on easter when they have T-day, Christmas, vacation and traveling expenses now? Why don't they just have stores that sell only holiday stuff all year round!!!!
