A night out

What do you like to do on nights out? I live in a small town, so the choices are limited, but we have a country bar that I like and I do love to try the line dances. I prefer not drinking alcohol because I love watching others as they get drunk and also, a DD is always needed. But mostly it is because I like o be in control of my senses and have just as much fun sober.

We live in a dry county so there are no bars and no place within about 50 miles to buy stuff to drink and even if we could i would be left out with the meds i am on so to all you that get to do that drink 1 or 2 for me...

I love poetry open mics or reading, as well as book signings. I go to an open mic every Monday night and treat myself to dinner out (a big deal for me). I like to go to the movies or a restaurant, as well. Sometimes I'll invite friends over to hang out and just chill with the TV, me, and Richard (my cat).

Now you hit close to my heart there. I write poetry and have a book of my poems ready to go to the publisher. Expression through writing has been an outlet for me. I think I will check around here to see if there are any open mics for poets. That would be a grand evening out for me! Thanks!

Well when I was younger I was a real "party animal" - out all night to Bars, and Pubs every night! Now I am older, so I can't stand the pace anymore - LOL - so it is usually just out for a quiet meal, or to the theatre. I live in London, so we have the theatre just a tube ride away, and so many lovely restaurants around. If I'm having a nigt out with my grlftriends, we may go to a Jazz Bar, or a Piano Bar, were we can hear form live music, and perhaps dance afterwards, and with my partner, it would either be the theatre, a meal, or just to the local pub for a pub meal. I tend not to drink much anymore either.

My usual night out nowadays just consists of dinner, movie then coffee.:) before i got married though, it was disco, late night outs dancing but still with the usual movies and stuff. I live in the city but it does not necessarily mean its always a nightlife for me.

I like going to see a movie with the hubby and or go out to dinner and have a drink...though that is non exsistent now since we have youngins. lol I do love to go listen to bands at bars.

we go out, walk around and then have dinner some place. we arent so fond of trying out new palces and just go to our regular spots. basically we enjoy spendign time together and breaking the monotony of staying home.

watching movie is my favorit, andt go to bar is a good alternative too, but going out with frieds to the country bar is perfect!!!!
