Battlestar Galactica

Oh I watched the original growing up and even in re-runs later on. It was a cute show. The new one is very different from it. They are able to do storylines they couldn't back with the original. I love the fact that the original Apollo actor is on the show. I know he was a moving force behind getting the new one going so it's great to see him on there. I really enjoy how they are taking the new series and making it something on its own merit.

I watched some of the original in reruns, but only enough to have a passing familiarity with the characters and mythology. I only started watching the new Battlestar in in the second season. Luckily, I was able to rent the mini-series on DVD and the sci-fi channel does a little marathon of reruns before the beginning of each new season to catch people up. I think the writers have really taken the premise of the original and run with it! It's a great show. As for may favorite character, it changes from week to week.

I used to watch the Original Battlestar Galactica back in the day Lorne Green was in command. I do not remember the other character names but the one guy also starred in the A-Team and I liked him a lot and he is funny. I miss the original shows and have not watched the new ones on the Sci-fi channel. I have the orginal Battlestar Galactica on dvd.

Starbuck is definitely one of my favorite characters. She seems like such a strong woman over what she's been through. She can over come any obsticle! I also like Captain Apollo and Madam President. I never saw the original though, but I would like to in the near future.
