Sharing your Blessings..

Blessings. - An act of holiness, divine will or one's hopes. May it be on sharing, giving, counting and earning from it.

Do you think that rich and prominent people, like from those who are into politics/government and high earning international celebrities should give more of what they had/have for their means of living? With the enormous amount of cash they possess, especially to those who just spend their money at things that has no significance/relevance at all. I also knew that government made us to pay taxes for lower-class workers and poor people to benefit on it. But do they also care for them, do you think they are also helping others at their own expense? If you know someone so, in what ways? And you, in what ways do you share your blessings to other's who are in more dire need of your help?

Some rich people get richer because they work hard and some poor people get poorer because they are not doing anything to improve their lives. I think people who have more than enough should help other people who are trying to help themselves, like the Bible says bout teaching a man to fish rather than giving him fishes. There is one celebrity who never gets tired of helping people and she's Oprah Winfrey. She put up a school in Africa, helps thousands of people through her Angel Network and was able to influence other people to help.

I've heard of that, what Oprah Winfrey has done for the people - especially the kids of Africa - for them to get proper education. Yes, she is one good-hearted celebrity that always thinks of other before herself!;) Others should look at her, and try to follow her good example..

I really believe that rich and prominent people must also share their wealth to the poor. Not in the direct way, it could be by donating to some institutions and organizations aimed at helping the poor especially in the aspect of education.

They should, in fact they should realize that these people doesn't have anyone to turn to so they sometimes end up in jail for committing crimes due to poverty..

if you are saying rich people should give there spare money to poor people.. uhm.. i dont think its a good idea. first, if rich people will give money to poor then i may call it tolerance. some rich people are born with it and some rich people become rich because they work hard for it (though some people dont really) and some poor people become rrich because they did there best to deserve it but most poor people have that poverty because they didnt do anything to supressed that. i think the most thing rich people can do to help the poverty become history is by providing work for poor and unemployed people or organizing free workshop regarding entreprenueral, in this way they are helping them to help themselves. thus, giving away money is not the answer for someones poverty... they have to work for it.

I'm not talking about giving money. It's on how they should provide and share what is NOT less but what is MUCH, from what they have. As I'm sure that nobody from them would do so, because they give too much value from their precious possessions. They can always convert their money to whatever they want to share, but still, I bet if they would do release almost half of what they have..

it's strange but I think it's true that charity is only easy for those who need money.. I mean when you need money you feel how hard it is for people with even less money than you; so you want to help them but I talked with rich people who doesn't know (or just don't want to know) how people around them suffer and it's just not their problem.. they think everyone manage somehow and it's never as bad as they pretend to be, etc.. most of the rich who give charity do it for publicity and/or for reaching political positions. people with fixed income are easy to tax and the government taxes them in full but with the rich and celebrities it's never clear how much they make and their money move in different countries .. somehow they never pay their taxes in full :( even if they do they should still do a lot more for other people.. I guess somehow money is an addiction, it's easy for us to hand out a little of what we got but as you get more it becomes harder to give any! I hope if one day I will become rich I will not change my views about this.. I saw it happening before ..

I see rich people help only their own kind. What's the use of help if they don not extend this to others who are in more need? Still the value of help for them has no meaning at all. We should lend a help to those who are more deserving and not only to whom we have friends in common.

I give you a little example: the actually major of Rome Veltroni, other than his major salary, takes another salary because he was also a politican. He refused this second salary but for the italian laws,he can't refuse it.so this man every month gives in benefection his second salary.here in Italy the ploiticans take a lot of money ; and this amounts are very exagerate,if the governement reduces their salaries, the amounts deducted will be very useful to poor people.

I think you're government should then make a change on your laws about this matter, it would really be of great help if they share it to others who are badly needing it..
