I want to stop eating for 7 days,do you think its alright?

I want to fast for 7 days to cleanse my body and get my focus back,what are the hazards,I have already passed day 1,I feel ok.I dont want to loose muscles though?how much muscle will I loose?

Hello. I'm laying on my couch typing this out to you...I've committed to doing a 10 fast, no food. I've never gone this long without food before. Granted, a week or two before I actually sat down and said, "I'm going to do this!" I would stop eatting gradually. This morning marks the fourth day and I am starting to feel the effects. I was told that on the third day, your body will go into shock and release all the toxins so pregnant and nursing mothers should not do this. Hopefully, you were able to complete your week without accident or injury. I almost passed out a few hours ago...ugh. One thing to keep in mind: if you're going to do this, make sure you introduce foods into your body slowly. Don't go to an all you can eat buffet and gore yourself silly, you'll get sick. Fruits and veggies come highly recommended.

You just want to cleanse your body? Thought you could pray too. Nway, its a good thing, its also healthy. Depends with your physical state. Don't really know how much muscle you will lose but you will feel alright in your body after all.

The starvation thearpies are bad from health point of view. I wish and request you to come out of this, and enjoy the life in a proper way. A controlled diet with nomore callories than needed would be a effective method to attend the health. Reduce or avoid eating fats, oil, sugar, rice and salt, This would give you a better result than any other method of dieting or starvation.

I wouldn't recommend stopping Eating for 7 days to cleanse your body. If you don't eat, your body won't get the nutrients it needs to function, and you'll start to feel weak and dizzy. There are detox diet type things you can do for a month to cleanse your body. They are designed so that you cleanse your body but still get the nutrients it needs at the same time. My sister once stopped eating for a week and she ended up in the Hospital after she collapsed one night. None of us knew she hadn't eaten till she finally told us when we all went to visit her. Needless to say, that may happen to you too.
