Why do women love to buy shoes?

Can anyone help me? I am unsure why women love to buy so many shows. Why would you buy shoes that you will only ever wear once? Why would you pay a huge amount to do this? Most guys have a few pairs of shoes that they wear all of the time. Most women have tens of pairs of shoes, many of which, they have enevr worn or only worn once.
