This seems a very odd question to ask because with a name like Luciano Pavarotti he is quite obviously italian. I believe that Plácido Domingo was born in Madrid, although he grew up in Mexico. I am not certain where exactly José Carreras was born, I know that he is spanish but do not know which town or city he was born in.
