for all those who surf ebay and other sites to shop. the one thing i get irritated with them big time is that 80 out of 100 times the shipping cost for the product is more than twice the amount of the product itself. what i dont understand why put it in the discounts section just say what the real price is. almost every ad and every site today is misleading which is very frustrating. Do you also find this very irritating.

A lot of people forget that the shipping cost also includes the packaging, not just the postage. Jiffy bags, bubble wrap, and other packaging materials are not free, they cost the seller to buy them so that the seller can package up the goods properly and safely. The term P & P means postage and packing. If you don't want to pay the shipping costs, then shop around and find another seller. When I sell on eBay I always make a point of explaining the costs include the packaging costs.

I sell quite a bit on eBay, while I do charge a handling fee, it's is a reasonable amount. If I have to get bubble wrap, a box, wait in line at the post office, wash or clean the item if neede, I also take into consideration my time. Hence the term shipping AND handling. Just because it costs x amount of money to ship it, it also takes the above. The key is to read the whole auction, if you do not like the terms, find another seller, there are tons out there, and I am sure you will find one you are happy with. For me, if I see a auction for a penny and the s/h is crazy, nomatter what, I wont bid, I don't deal with shady sellers.
