in 2003, i met this guy, on my way to get a hair cut, he needed a ride and before i knew it, he started calling me baby doll, we became friends and always needed a ride from the police station after he was let out. i asked him what he was in for and always told me it was because of a violation of a previous offense. i dont know exactly why but i was attracted to him, and felt like i needed his attention. i let him live with me, and he immediately became attached to me. i would usually find him on my porch after work even uninvited. i often found him mumbling to himself in the middle of the night walking back and forth. then yelling his lungs out, followed by a brief cry that i just could not ignore! i will be honest - i truly felt for him, but i had to run away and never come back to break it off, he eventually left my apt and i came back for what was left of my stuff a few months later. i loved him but i ran away!

Thank goodness you sense of self-preservation over came your compassion. From your description, that guy was at the very least, using you, and probably also mentally unbalanced and a criminal. You did the right thing, you have nothing to feel bad about.

I think this time you did something right by running away. That person is clearly not in the best of health, sanity-wise, and its in your best interest to have some distance from him.

thanx, there are a few times when i think about him now and wonder where he is and how he is doing. he pops into my head once in a while and i actually dreamt about him last night. hence the discussion.

Great story. How long did it take you to make it up? Wonderful way to get sympathy from strangers who fall for it. Of course, maybe you didn't make it up. Maybe you're just incredibly dumb.

there are a lot of things good and bad that happen in this world, happy and depressing, but it seems like you have had a sheltered life. people coming in and out of your life, i am glad that BRANDON PARMLEY actually crossed my path, and enjoyed going down to train tracks near FREEPORT, TX and i am actually still less than half your age. WOW!

That is very very strange behavior and I think it's best that you are away from this person.
