My husband was taking me fishing and we were also testing the boat out. As I was holding the boat while he parked the truck I was like oh my gosh. A Bald Eagle flew over. I told my husband when he came back and he said yes they have a nest near by. I found this so awesome because I've only seen them in the Zoo's and in books. Have you ever seen one in it's natural habitat?

The closest I saw them to the wild would be in Yellowstone National Park. They were beautiful to behold. So magestic and breathtaking. It is a natural habitat but it's a state park so wasn't sure if you would count that or not. I have seen them also in Zoo's such as Busch Gardens but that isn't exactly nature by any stretch of the imagination.

Yes i live in Northern Canada and we see them on occassion or see their nests up in the trees. I have noticed though that we used to see them alot more often when as i was a child than today!

Yes here in Kentucky they are everywhere! I didn't notice them until about 2 years ago, I thought the were hawks flying up there. Then we heard of a resturant near by, 10 minutes away near by, that you can go and have a meal while watching the Eagles fly around free in a natrual nearby park. It's cool to see cause for most of my life, they were rare, now we can see them almost everday around the house.
