According to The Body Clock Guide to Better Health, the most productive and active time for an owl(night) person is around 5:30 pm; fall asleep late, especially weekends; sleep quality: less and worse; meals: no breakfast, prefer dinner. Are you one of those owl people?

I have become a night owl. I think my husband is part of the reason. He is a night owl even when he has to get up early and go to work. I got in the habit of staying up with him and now go to bed about 1 a.m.

I am a night person. I perk up at about 9 PM. During the day, I am very sluggish. A nap in the day would do me some good if I had the time.

I am a night person, I do not sleep until it pass midnight every night. I might doze off at 10 of 11 pm but will wake up again, then I will stay up till it past midnight, most of the time, I will spend my time on the net surfing or participating in mylot posting. I need about 5 to 6 hours of sleep. Then I am able to get up and the timing is about 7.30am.

OH.. that I am... Very much one. And it's true, I'm really at my best late afternoon and through the night. I always was, even for studying. I remember being told at school - "wake up early and study, it will be better for you" but it never worked for me.If I really wanted to memorize something, know something I needed to study later. Even know I feel more active late at night, which is a problem when i feel like vacuuming the house at 2 am LOL I actually sleep very well... if I can go to bed later and wake up later as well. And yes, dinner is my preferred meal - but I think that's because it's the only meal that we are all together. One thing about dinner, but it's my impression that it's a cultural thing because people back home tend to have diner late - I also tend to have diner very late - 8 o'clock at the earliest. It also makes sense because since I stay awake until later if I had dinner at 5 or 6 like many people have I would be starving by 1 am.

It seems there an awful lot of night folk out there and you can count me in that score as well.--Most definitely a night person, although I do eat a breakfast since I have a blood sugar problem to contend with, so I do have to eat...but have always prefered dinner as my main big meal of the day...or should I say..night??? LOL
