What do you do when you go to the movie theater and there is someone sitting by you who wont shut-up. I was watching stomp the yard and the girl was making all these dumb noise and talking so loud. I tried giving her a dirty look but that didnt help. I didnt want to be rude and tell her to be quite. What do I do the next time that happens?

Turn around and ask them nicely to be quiet and if that doesn't work go out and tell someone to go in and tell them to hush. I've had to do that a couple of times.

once i was on a first date and my date just turned around and screamed at the people..lol..it worked! also my mother was a good one for screaming at peoople who popped their gum..boy my ma could yell... but you should just ask nicely..and then get the usher or the manager..they don't like to lose customers either... movies sure cost a lot..it is not worth it if someone spoils your fun....dang

You should tell them quietly that they need to be quiet so you can listen and enjoy the movie. I am surprised that other people did not say anything to them. You should report them if they continue to talk during the movie. It is very rude and inconsiderate of them to do that as well as talking on the cell phone or having a phone ring during a movie. Another option would be to move to a seat further away if you can and if there is enough light to see your way around.
