Cubs vs. Sox - Where did all the tickets go?

As a Cub fan, I find nothing more gratifying then traveling to a place where you're ridiculued, scoffed at, and clearly not wanted, only to witness a defeat of the home team at the hands of my beloved Cubs. These three days a year are perhaps the biggest events of the summer, and because of such, every year I devise new ways to get my hands on a few pairs of tickets. These year, however, that looks to be extremely difficult, for the tickets for these three games are completely sold out, and they haven't even gone on sale yet to the general public! So where the hell did they go? To whom got first dibs? This is a total bummer, for now, if any real fans want to go to the game(s) they're going to have to pay ticket scalpers nothing short of their first born child. Can't something be done to ensure the likelihood that real fans, rather than corporate rats, get tickets?

Well if youre talking Chicago then most of the tickets get sold online to tourist, its a blessing and a curse of being in a higher market area, If only you r cubs werent owned by the tribune you guys could maybe spend some of that money on players. :P
