Age Discrimination

Why do people feel the need to pick on someone because of their age. I'm young but that most certainlly doesn't make me immature and stupid. It's pointlessly hurtfull. I try not to let it get to me but I feel like an 18 year old trapped in a 30 year old life. It really hurts me when I don't get a job and I know that it's because of my age. I'm in my second year of college. I got out of high school early yet no one respects me as a person. Do any of you have that same problem?

Giggles I am afraid it is like that everywhere, my Daughter is 19 now nearly 20 and it took her over a Year to get a Job, also because of her Age, she has got very good Qualifications, because of her Age they would not entertain her. I know it is not fair and it is awful but do not give up Hope Love, something will come up I told my Daughter this to and it did. So be patient and keep looking.

I am only 55, I also feel being discriminated because of my age. Sometimes they make fun of me and called me grandmother.
