Except ayurvedic, hair gels are petroleum product that can cause harm. So i reccomend to use hair oil which is the safest and use of oil has other advantages other tha only shining hairs they r it acts like a coolant to brain, enhances thinking capacity, a regular user may him/herself may experience th benefits of using OIL. Moreover it makes your hair-roots stronger and healthy

Patience is the key. If you are trying to grow it from layers, then you actually should cut the bottom to match the longest layers. Then when the next layer is longer, do another cut. It gives the appearance of longer hair when you cut to match the layers. If you shampoo too much you can shampoo the natural oils from your hair which will cause it to become dry and brittle. When you shampoo, use a pick or wide toothed comb to comb it. Never use a brush. You only use a natural bristle brush when it's dry. Don't blow dry your hair unless you have to style it to attend a function. Let your hair naturally dry if you can. Don't use curling irons or rollers. Just let it dry straight or natural.
