what to do about my dog

my german shepard is 1 year old every time my husband comes home & tries to hug me or something he growls and jumps at him. which i think its funny , iwas wondering how do i get him to stop my husbands is not liking this at all he cant even wake me up chubby ( my dog ) wont let him.

Give Chubby a doggie treat.and put your husband outside.The dog will be happy and will not growl at you for it.

i dont think that would work with my husband you know how he is i would rather chuuby pee on my car that him. LOL

Well this is a good thing and a bad thing, it means that your dog has bonded exclusively with you, but in this case so much so that your husband is a threat, i don't seem to think that this can be solved other than maybe just having your hubby bond heavily with the dog in a manner that makes him feel that he is no longer a threat.

i have tood him to do so but my husband is a truck driver & only home on weekends most of the time so i cant see how he can really bond with him he just does that to him the first day hes home then pretty much leaves him alone, but stays real close to me the rest of the time, o well i guess it will work out on its own. thanks
