I love it to but u are right u can babysit for someone and them not pay u or not pay u enough and yes it is hard not to get attached to the kids.

I used to like to babysit because I considered it easy money. After a horrible night of babysitting some little boys I called it quits however. Its harder as a guy because females have more of an authoritave position with children I guess compared to a male who they usually feel more buddy buddy with.

No that is not always true some men have the touch like women do they just have to work through everything and use patience.

I don't have the patience for it. I babysit my grandkids because they are fun and I don't hesitate to do whatever it takes to dicipline them and make them behave. I can't do that with just anyone's kids. I have my hairy grandchild tonight though (DOG). I don't like to babysit for him! He is BAD!!!! grrrr!!!!

Well, I never really babysat when I was younger but now I have my own baby! So I love being a mother.:)
