I recently started the hobby of editing texts and images using Adobe PhotoShop and all I can say is that it is a really addicting stuff to play with. You can actually change the background of you image, remove imperfections, add some details, etc. I was able to finish my first projects, a mobile phone wallpaper, and an animated image (using Adobe Image Ready). You can find a couple of sites for free tutorials. As for Paintshop Pro, I have never tried that stuff before. I think I will just stick with PhotoShop

I have always been a lover of Adobe Photoshop and there is little doubt that it is the most professional image editing software available. Nevertheless, a lot of my friends prefer Paint Shop pro for a couple of reasons. It is a far more user friendly package which makes it popular with people who do not wish to spend hours trying to figure out the best approach. It is also popular with the computer magazines, and is often used as an example in various magazine workshops.

It would be Photoshop for me. Photoshop is so powerful and you can really do a lot of tricks and effects wuth it. It's also easy to use. I've been using it for years now in making mya digital layouts for the digital scrpbook, n making layouts for creating invitations for my friends & realatives and other photo editing stuff. I've tried other software, but I would still go for Photoshop.
