How Much Would It Cost To Drive From Adelaide To Perth

I drive a 6 cylinder, 3.9 litre Ford Falcon. How much do you reckon it would cost in fuel alone to drive from Adelaide to Perth?

Good question! I have no idea! I have a VN Commodore and it cost me $40 to drive from Ballina to the Gold Coast which was a two hour drive, so u could roughly work it out if you knew how many hours it takes to drive there LOL

Hmm, so that's about $20 an hour and I heard it takes a gruelling 24 hours so about $480 then?

Sounds about right. Then you have to take into account traffic conditions and different petrol prices everywhere LOL its ridiculous.

Methinks the traffic will be pretty scarce on that road and the Falcon isn't too bad long distance without stopping. I heard petrol was something like $1.70 along that road though. Sneaky buggers :)
