Which team you will support in coming worldcup?

Pakistan will easily make it through to the Super 8 stage -West Indies will be their only competition in Group D. It's not like Ireland or Zimbabwe are going to knock them out. I'll be supporting Australia - but I still can't believe that after being at the top of the one day rankings for so long they lost 4 important games on the trot and have now dropped down to second. I honestly think South Africa will take it out - they seem to be in the best form going into the competition. In the end - does it really matter? The past world cups have shown some fantastic games and that's all I really want to see - some great games of cricket!

i will support my home team India only but i think south africa has chance of winning but seeing newzealand team it is not a weak team it is trying its best to win.

Well as a Pakistani, I will support Pakistan but I think that South Africa or Australia has a better chance. Even though Australia's recent performance is questionable but hey they are world champs for a reason and as long as the Pakistani team doesn't improve its performance and get better organized. I doubt the victory will be for my homeland. However if they manage to pull out something like in 1992, well then Inshallah we will win.

Yes we all should support their home team. I also support my Pakistani team ,but as we all see the Austrailians are on number 1 in rating so chances for Austrailia for winning world cup is very bright.

I will be supporting India. But I don't think past performance is not going to help any team. The team that plays well during the world cup will win. So every team has an equal chance.

The cricket world cup which is going to held in West Indies 2007 will be the most interesting world cup in the histroy of cricket world. I feel this because this time there are more than 2 favourite teams to which this world cup, you cant put your money on 1 team to win the world cup. This time the hot favourates are Australia, South Africa. Pakistan, India, West Indies and New Zealand teams are also balanced they also have a chance to win world cup even though these all teams have performed really well in some of there matches so they have a real chance to win the world cup but I personaly feel that Australia and South Africa are those both such teams which can do anything on the given day. As we all are aware of that record match which these both teams have played in which there was highest score in one day international in that match these both teams have proved that they are just simply outclass no one can compare them. So my conclusion will be this that Australia and South Africa are both those teams which have a great chance to win the World Cup 2007.

The patriot in me urges me to support pakistan, but the rational part of my brain dictates that i should opt for Australia or Newzealand! Analyzing most recent performances of the teams i would rank them as following as favorites for world cup: 1) Australia 2) Newzealand 3) South Africa 4) Pakistan 5) India

As being pakistani, i will also support pakistan cricket team. Although their chances are very less for winning the world cup but then prayes of pakistan people can make their way towrds the vicoty. also every one knows that pakisan cricket team is the most unpredictable team of the world so keep hopes alive and pray for the victory of pakistan cricket team.

i will support my home team india..and i think india hav gr8 chances to win havin great batting line up including sachin,saurabh,rahul,dhoni,kartik,uthappa,shehwag...its really amazin and all are in good form..including bowlers zaheer,sreesanth,munaf agarkar,harbhajan,kumble..its really lookin as a winning team.afterbeating westindises and srilanka
