A few great historical movies!!

Ok..being a movie buff, i've taken a great liking to those historical movies, that which transforms the history ryt in front of us..I've been watching some such movies since i was a kid and some of my favourites are...10 commandments,Ben-hur,troy,alexander,cleopatra,The prince of egypt,Land of the Pharaohs,gladiator,brave heart,Joan of arc,Titanic,downfall..and a few more..I was just wondering if u people liked any of these movies, and if u would recommend some other nice legendary movies here..perhaps some that i havent watched..am actually making a collection..and planning to make it big..thank you:)

I havent watched ben-hur, heard lots of good reviews about it.
OF the recent ones, I liked Troy,Alexander the great, gladiator.If u are a fan of russell crowe then u must watch Beautiful Mind and cindrella man,if u havent watched it before.
Also like watching war movies, Saving Private Ryan being my all time favourite war movie.

i puked after seeing saving private ryan..lol..liked it..but couldnt stand da violence...i love a beautiful mind..havent watched cindrella though

You could not have missed the classics, like ten commandments, Samson and Dilhela and all those. I loved them, though it did not have the greatest of visual effects. And were you able to complete seeing Passion of Christ? What about Indian movies? Don't watch any of those?

Indian movies..i do watch them..ofcourse..but i dont follow much of hindi, dats da prob!..indian classics are my favourite too!..n i havent seen passion of christ, added to my list.

yeah..i've seen lawrence of arabia..sorry forgot to mention it here..it was pretty slow moving..but nevertheless...very god.thnx 4 ur response:)
